Dreaming Big: Round Table Discussion to Co-Create the Now and Future of Work

Overview
Building on what our chapter learned in 2020 from Morgean Hirt about the ATD Capability Model and how to leverage it in our local talent development community, participants will spend time together in networking/brainstorming circles to discuss 3 key topics: The NOW of Work, the FUTURE of Work in 2022 and 3-5 years beyond, and what capabilities are and will be needed in the Triad.

Participants will leave with a sense of trends affecting talent development and how to not only leverage their own personal learning and that of their teams, but also what key capabilities they will need to develop personally or within their teams to be successful now and prepared for the future.

Who should attend?
- Learning and Development individual contributors in order to learn about developing personal capabilities to be future-ready.
- Learning and Development teams to assist in strategic planning
- Learning & Development leaders who can share what is trending in their organizations and industries in order to drive professional development opportunities for their team members to be future-ready.
Objectives
- Have an understanding of learning and development trends currently affecting our profession and those that will be in the next 3-5 years.
- Be able to create a professional development strategic plan for themselves and/or their teams in order to be future-ready.
- Be able to articulate and convey the value of development in these trends to gain support and buy-in from organizational stakeholders.

All attendees of this event will be presenters, sharing with one another their knowledge, skills, and expertise to help co-create what Talent Development will look like in the years to come.
